Questions & Answers

Question: Do the actresses of Charmed still have a close relationship since the show has ended?

Answer: I believe that the core actresses remain in contact with one another. Holly Marie Combs (Piper) and Shannen Doherty (Prue) are very close to one another and even filmed a reality show!

Question: Will the original Charmed ever be revived with the original cast members?

Answer: As of now I don’t think there are plans for a revival of the original Charmed, although the lead actresses have all expressed interest in the idea.

Question: Will the original cast of Charmed ever make an appearance on the reboot?

Answer: I don’t know for certain, but based off the original cast members response to the reboot, I can’t see this happening. I would also be surprised if the reboot is picked up for another season, as the ratings seem to be less than spectacular.

Question: I named my daughter after Piper, is there any hope of the original coming back?

Answer: Yes, there is! Alyssa Milano recently revealed her and Holly Marie Combs have been talking about making Charmed movies with Netflix featuring the original cast!

Question: Where is Wyatt Halliwell now or the twins Jason Patrick and Kristopher Rober Simmons now? No one ever mentions them in a Charmed where are they now posting.

Answer: I tried to focus on the main, central characters throughout the show’s run. Wes Ramsey portrayed Wyatt Halliwell and currently stars on the soap opera General Hospital as Peter August. The twins are now 16 and their most recent television work was in 2013 on How I Met Your Mother.

I too love the original Charmed Ones and watch reruns everyday. Just can’t get into the new one, I guess because I compare it to the original.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on February 11, 2019:

Hi Carla, I feel the same way! Obviously fans of the original show are not flocking to the new one. I hope in the future they can get it right with the original cast!

Carla Beach on February 11, 2019:

I love the original. Do not like the new one. If they don't pick the other up for another season that should tell them something. I'm still watching the original on TNT and POP. Love it.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on January 27, 2019:

Hi Abby, I couldn’t agree more! Charmed is one of those shows that you never get tired of! That’s wonderful you watch with your daughter and it’s special to you! I was so upset when Prue was killed off too, but I think the character of Paige was fun and added a lightheartedness to the show.

Abby Chambers on January 27, 2019:

I absolutely love the Charmed ones best show EVER! I've been watching the show with my daughter since she was 6 and she is 23 now. And we're still watching reruns now at this moment! I love all the girls from when the show first came on... Hate Prue had to die

Rachel M Johnson (author) on January 22, 2019:

Hi Mjtyra, thank you for the information, I will update his name!

mjtyra on January 22, 2019:

Sorry to disappoint but you have some wrong information. Wyatt, Piper, and Chris went by Halliwell, not Wyatt. When they were looking for a name for their son they chose to name him after Leo, hince the Wyatt but to keep the last name as Halliwell to continue the Halliwell line and to leave no doubt in the minds of the demons who his parents are.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on January 22, 2019:

Hi Mercea, I know exactly what you mean! All throughout the last season it was so bittersweet, knowing there would be no more new episodes. I’m happy they all got great endings but it was still very sad. Charmed will always be one of my all time favorite shows!

MERCEA C on January 22, 2019:

I didn't get a chance to see the last season years ago and am just catching up on Netflix but I started from the beginning. I was nearly in tears on the last episode not just at the story line but because it was over there was no more to see. This was by far the best show EVER. I say that now at 47, still the best.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on January 14, 2019:

Hi Karen, that is so wonderful your family found a show you really connected with and can enjoy together! I absolutely adore Charmed and it’s such a special show to me. I just can’t give the new one a chance since it’s so opposite of the original, and I agree it probably won’t last for that reason.

Karen kennedy on January 13, 2019:

I tried to like the new one because the original charmed was so good. Three generations good. My mom ansd i enjoyed it. I was married and she and i would call each other qnd watch or discuss. Then my daughter found it and watched all seasons on dvds we bought. No e of us like the new one. Should have brought back Piper, Phoebe and Paige. The new one wont make it.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 24, 2018:

Hi Carol, I absolutely love the original Charmed too! Phoebe was always my favorite and personally I loved watching her and Cole’s romance on the show, even when he struggled with his dark side. It would have been interesting seeing Prue evolve on the show more but I enjoyed Paige’s personality. Piper is by far the strongest and most resilient. The power of three kicked some major booty and I wish the original sisters would come back!

This is Carol on December 24, 2018:

As of right now i so love the original series of charmed better than the shows now of 2018. I was so excited when i hrd the show was coming back. This new charmed, im still trying to figure out ea of thr individual names, i know thr names start with an M. The original charmed sisters, prue, piper and phoebe now they were some bad sisters. I just wish they had played phoebe and cole's role of them married longer, it was touching. Prue was a lot tougher than paige on the series, paige her role was not as tough as prue. Pauge was just thr, thats my thought. I am hpful I'll like the new charmed as well as the original series. I hv every series of the original charmed, i can watch it whenever I choose to, it was one of my favorite all time show that came on bk n the day. Loved the 3P. It still comes on and i watch it when i hv tim. Right now i cannot compare the 2 shows bcse ii feel i nd to watch more of the new charmed. Of the original, prudence was a favorite, she was a bad sista, didnt take no stuff, i like. The guys were hot too. LOL, ,, cole, Leo, darryl, andy, Chris, Dan and others that played on thr. As of right now the original charmed still got it.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 18, 2018:

Hi Marie, I couldn’t agree more! They had the perfect set-up to follow-up with the sisters’ children and have them mentor them! I honestly never bothered watching the new “Charmed” and I highly doubt it will see a second season. Hopefully they can get the formula right in the future and give the fans what we want!

Marie roark on December 18, 2018:

I have never been so disappointed. I thought that the new charmed would be their kids .after all remember at the end pheobe had 3 girls .they had such success in making charmed ,why mess with a good thing .everyone that i know was upset about the new (so called charmed) take a page from spelling's book and make a hit by using the old formula.ps i truly miss my girls lol that goodness for reruns

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 18, 2018:

Hi Lisa, that would be a good plot for the new show! I’m really not interested in watching the remake, bring back the original Charmed Ones!

Lisa on December 18, 2018:

Bring back the original series version with the original characters as guides to there children who become the charmed ones. Like grams guided Piper, Pru and Phoebe. Piper (Holly combs) and Phoebe (allysa Milano) the other characters are not as important. DONT LIKE THE NEWS CHARMED AT ALL.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 17, 2018:

Hi Bruce, I really wish they would bring back the originals sisters/stars!

Bruce on December 17, 2018:

I would like to know will you bring the show back with the Three Sisters Piper Phoebe and Paige I don't really care for the new Charmed series

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 10, 2018:

Hi Laura, I know exactly what you mean! I’ve watched it multiple times all the way through and it’s still one of my absolute favorites.

Laura on December 10, 2018:

I'm currently rewatching all the seasons, am up to season 3, episode 16. I still love this show as much as i did when i first saw it.

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 06, 2018:

Hi Valma, Piper definitely does indeed!

Valma on December 06, 2018:

Piper is the best with a good head on her shoulder

Rachel M Johnson (author) on December 01, 2018:

Hi Debbie, that is awesome! Piper is a beautiful name!

Debbie on December 01, 2018:

My granddaughter is named piper after our favorite witch!

Rachel M Johnson (author) on November 28, 2018:

Hi A, I agree. Piper was always so centered and resilient. She truly held the sisters together. I’m still so curious what the show would have been like had Prue stayed on. Paige was fun and free spirited but she definitely struggled with being a witch. Phoebe has always been my favorite (I loved her and Cole when they were good), but Piper was the strongest of them all. Thank you for your response!

A on November 28, 2018:

I felt that Paige couldn't hold herself together as witch and instead. Pru was great in all but she was only there for 3 seasons, I wish she was there for more. Phoebe was emotionally driven and I loved/hated cole . Piper just seemed like the most stable one that actually knew what she was doing with her life and going somewhere, even if her and leo separated. Which emotionally hurt me

Rachel M Johnson (author) on November 23, 2018:

Hi Christian & Von, I agree that Piper was an amazing character with the best power! Plus she always seemed to be the glue that held the sisters together.

christian on November 23, 2018:

piper was the best and she could blow up things which was the best part

Von on October 09, 2018:

Loved Piper she was the only one who kept it together.
