I genuinely believed that the story in 'Toy Story 3' was the complete package that brought the trilogy to a fine but heart-breaking conclusion. I wasn't sure there was much more to be done with these characters so when the fourth film was announced, I wrote it off as Disney simply cashing in on their highly successful franchise.
However, the film seems to have managed the unlikely trick of maintaining the high standards set by the earlier films. Critics have lauded the film as an enjoyable, heart-warming and beautifully animated film in its own right while audiences have also helped the film earn more than $1 billion worldwide. Personally, I have the film on DVD and will be watching it soon so watch this space.
