Hmmm, we haven't heard much from our favorite Euphoria star lately. What's Zendaya up to? Apparently we weren't the only ones who were wondering, because the internet went wild after the typically private celeb posted on social media recently.
"Zendaya on Instagram Stories, 'I know I've been quiet, but I'm here, just workin as usual… anyway sending love from Arrakis,'" the tweet reads, referring to the second Dune film, Dune: Part Two.
Okay, we don't even know where to focus here. First there's the Zendaya of it all, but we get an update from the set of Dune too? It appears that Zendaya also shared a photo taken from set and while nothing was really given away from the image, we can't help but wonder what's going on.
The actress tempted us even more with a follow up story, which was also shared on Twitter. "Zendaya on Instagram Stories, 'I’ll be back tho…'" the caption reads.
Online people were already talking about the post. "Babe wake up Zendaya is filming Dune," @catttiiaaa wrote. "Zendaya 'sending love from Arrakis.” Alright that’s it, time for a Dune rewatch," @calebturner23 joked. "Zendaya we know that you are not coming back but it’s ok we are used to that," @that_is_carol teased. "I laughed a lil too hard at this lol," @GeriatricSoul admitted.
Variety reports that the second Dune movie will “explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family," it states. "Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
We can't wait. We'll definitely be there when Dune: Part 2 hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2023.
