Our little 90s baby hearts are swelling after the reunion of a lifetime. That's right, former co-stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook had everyone online swooning after they posed for a photo together. Is it just us, or are you totally craving a trip to Blockbuster right about now?
You might remember that the two starred in a little movie together back in 1999 — She's All That. Does it ring any bells? Yeah this was pretty much the movie of the time. So naturally we were totally psyched to see that they were together once again.
"She All That co-stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook reunited at a special screening of his new movie, Christmas with You last night!" the tweet from Netflix reads.
Okay, these two look so perfect together. It's almost like we need a sequel — ASAP.
And by the looks of Twitter, other people seemed to agree. "Freddie Prinze Jr. + Rachael Leigh Cook reunion is everything I need right now, Laney Boggs and Zack Siler from She's All That will remain one of the best romcom couples!" @mondlerogan wrote. ""Kiss Me' has been playing on the back of my brains for years now btw," she added, speaking of the infamous song from the movie by Sixpence None The Richer. "Seeing this and 'Kiss Me ' automatically started playing in my head ...been ages since I watched the movie...good ole days," @OG_Dreamville added. "Love reunions like this, the movie had a great cast," @deadeditors_ added. "And they both still look good AF!" @diggydesigned joked.
According to People, the new movie features the 46-year-old Prinze playing a music teacher who falls in love with his daughter's favorite pop star. This will allegedly be his first romcom since 2012's Happy Valley — so you know this is going to be good.
Christmas with You starts streaming on Netflix on November 17.
