"Hocus Pocus" is Going to Broadway and Now the Sanderson Sisters Can Truly Hit the Stage

If you thought the hype over Hocus Pocus would die down after the sequel was released, guess again! That's because it's recently been announced that the beloved Disney franchise will be heading to Broadway — and you know that we're waiting to buy our tickets ASAP.

News of the project has made it's way to TikTok, where at least one creator was over-the-moon excited. "Finally," Madison Paige (@maddisglam) wrote in the video's text overlay.

The NYC-based content creator was shaking as she delivered the news. And TBH, we totally get it.

Other people were just as stoked as we were for the news. "Omg yes!!!!!!" @keridiguglielmo wrote in the comments section. "Yay!!" @alecia19780 exclaimed. "SHUT UP!!!" @disastrophefilms added.

To which Paige herself responded, "I CANNOT. I AM SO EXCITED." Us too!

According to Vanity Fair, plans for the musical are still in production so no solid details have been released. The news outlet reports that producer David Kirschner gave an interview with the Broadway Podcast Network’s The Art of Kindness and shared just a little insight into the project.

“I just want to pinch myself, and I’m just afraid that I’m going to be 9 years old and on a Little League field again. But it’s just so wonderful just to stand back and watch all of this,” he said. And while he didn't have any details on when the show is due to premier (or if any of the film's original cast will be included), he did confidentially say, “I think you’re going to be very pleased.”

We just can't wait to see the Sanderson sisters sing "I Put a Spell on You" in real life!
