Oh Boy, Joe Locke from "Heartstopper" Will Be Joining the Cast of "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" — So You Know It's Going to Be Good

We can't wait!

Big news for fans of both WandaVision and the Netflix series Heartstopper. Joe Locke has been confirmed to appear in the new spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Is it just us, or does this show sound like it's going to be better and better every time we hear about it?

People all over the internet were totally psyched when the news broke on November 1. Including users on Twitter, who can't wait to see Locke step into the Wanda-verse.

"Joe Locke has been cast as the male lead opposite Kathryn Hahn in the upcoming Disney+/Marvel #WandaVision spinoff series #AgathaCovenOfChaos," a tweet from Deadline Hollywood reads.

People in the comments section were all about this casting news. "Joe is an extraordinarily talented rising star! Cheers!!" wrote @JIHollander. "A very weird 'w- what??' just came out of my mouth I can't believe it. This is so so cool. I'm so proud of you Joe," @laviecestchiant added. "Well that’s one way to get me to start watching Marvel shows again. CONGRATULATIONS!!!" @Billsindelar agreed.

According to Deadline, many of the details of Locke's role have been kept under wraps so far. But sources did tell Deadline that Locke's character is described as being a gay teen with a dark sense of humor. Kathryn Hahn will be reprising her role as Agatha Harkness in the upcoming series. As well as Emma Caulfield Ford, who will be reprising the role of Dottie.

Coven of Chaos will be Locke's second major project on camera to date. Earlier this year Locke starred in Heartstopper, an LGBTQ+ coming-of-age romantic comedy based on a graphic novel by Alice Oseman. The show was incredible successful — Heartstopper has already been renewed for both a second and third season.

Now we're more excited than ever. Here's hoping we get a release date soon!
