The Game is Afoot in the New Trailer for "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery"

We're ready to crack the case.

If you're still thinking about Chris Evans' sweater from Knives Out, then this news is for you. The follow up to the 2019 hit, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, is coming out soon. And we just got a first look at what the sequel is about in a brand new trailer.

Let's just get this out of the way, this movie looks absolutely awesome. The trailer was dropped by the movie itself on Twitter on November 7.

"Nothing brings friends together like a killer party," the accompanying tweet reads. Oh boy, we can't wait.

According to The AV Club, our favorite detective Benoit Blanc is back, but this time with a whole new cast of characters. This time, Blanc is one of several guests invited to eccentric tech billionaire Miles Bron's (played by Edward Norton) private island in Greece.

“I’ve invited you all to my island because tonight, a murder will be committed. My murder," Bron says in the trailer, seemingly speaking of a game they would be playing . But of course, things don't go exactly as planned and Bron really ends up dead. Enter Blanc who must once again solve the case.

“The killer is in plain sight,” he said in the trailer. “For at least one person, this is not a game.”

People in the comments section were just as psyched. "THIS IS GONNA BE SO GOOD BFFS I JUST KNOW IT," @buckyskenobi exclaimed. "I can't wait!! I got my ticket for a screening on November 23rd," @AlexWalason agreed. "OMG THIS IS literally so good I can’t not wait!!!!" @Brigett_alex chimed in. "Christmas came early," @littlebosslady7 joked.

Starring Daniel Craig, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista, we also agree that this is definitely a must-see.

Glass Onion will have a limited theatrical release on November 23 and will drop on Netflix on December 23.
