The Poster for the "Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration" Has Been Revealed and We're So Excited

It's real! It's really real.

Hold onto your hats because we're about to say something shocking: it's been 30 years since Beauty and the Beast came out. Ah! How is that even possible? Disney is marking the occasion with an incredible two hour celebration that will premiere in December. Now the poster for the project has just dropped and we've never been more excited.

The poster was shared on the official @abcnetwork Instagram page and shows the two stars of the special, musician H.E.R. (whose real name is Gabriella Wilson) and Josh Groban. And already they're giving us Belle and Beast vibes.

"Part animated film. Part live action spectacle. It’s a tale as old as time when @hermusicofficial and @JoshGroban join us for ABC's #BeautyAndTheBeast30th on Dec 15!" the post's caption reads.

Do we spy H.E.R. in an outfit that looks pretty darn similar to Belle's dress? We love that they updated the look to include pants - because princesses can totally wear pants if they want to! Groban also looks pretty dapper wearing a blue cape that looks just like the beast's.

The post has since received over 13,000 likes and we can tell that the special is going to be a hit. "This is going to be amazing!" wrote one person. "I’m so excited!!! The vocals for this are sure to be spectacular," another person agreed. "I don’t even have words to explain how excited I am for this," a third commenter chimed in. "Omggg I can not wait," someone else exclaimed.

Collider reports that the special will also feature performances from Rita Moreno as the narrator, Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts, Martin Short as Lumière, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, and Joshua Henry as Gaston.

Not only will the special air on December 15, but it will stream on Disney+ the next day. So you can watch it once with your family, and then a second time alone for that '90s nostalgia.
