The stars of the new Disney movie Disenchanted were out last night and now we're really excited. Not only was it so cool to see our favorite stars all dolled up. But some eagle-eyed fans noticed that stars Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams look pretty much the same since they shot the first movie in 2007.
You might not want to take us at our word, but believe us these two still look incredible. A before-and-after of the duo was shared to Twitter by the @romcomarchive account and shows the two looking scarily like their younger selves.
"Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams at the premiere of ‘Enchanted’ in 2007 and the premiere of #Disenchanted in 2022," the caption reads.
Honestly, we can't tell which photo is which. We really had to look at the poster behind the two stars to realize that the photo on the left is from 2007 and the photo on the right is from 2022. But it was really hairy there for a second.
The post has been liked over 27,000 times and people agreed that this was practically an optical illusion. "That's a 15 year gap and nothing's changed," one person commented in the comments section. "No cause they both look the same I need those aging genes," someone else teased. "Literally not aged a day," a third commenter agreed. "The way they both still look THAT good … incredible," added someone else.
For those who are itching to watch the sequel, Disenchanted will take place 15 years after the original movie, Enchanted. In the new movie, Giselle and Robert are quickly realizing that "happily ever after" isn't what it seems. So Giselle turns to Andalasia to give their lives a little pick-me-up, but then things really go awry.
Disenchanted drops on Disney+ on November 18. We can't wait to check it out.
