The Next Season of "American Horror Story" Has Been Announced and You Won't Believe Where It's Happening

Every year we patiently wait for the new season of American Horror Story to be announced. And every year we get more excited than ever. So of course we were totally hyped when we saw that the first few teasers season 11 have been shared. Oh yeah, this is going to be good.

The series is known for picking new and different locations or themes every season. And this year it's New York City. The big news was shared on TikTok by @literally_kathy_bates (or David Bates, as he goes by online).

"So apparently the new season of American Horror Story is going to be called NYC," he explained in the video. Which goes back to a long tradition the show has had of naming a season after the location where it takes place. Of course, they broke the streak with seasons like American Horror Story Hotel and American Horror Story 1984. But now we're back to form and better than ever.

With over 1.7 million views, people in the comments section were truly psyched. "It better be a musical. It BETTER be a musical," @loomiseclipsed wrote. "It's gunna be about rats and pizza," @tiffanypollardoffical joked. "I want Evan Peters singing CONCRETE JUNGLE WHERE DREAMS MADE OF dragging something weird down Times Square," urged. "What if it's just Gossip Girl, but with gore?" @anna.tholia kidded.

Not too many details have been released ahead of the October 19 premiere date, but according to Vulture we can expect American Horror Story regulars Patti LuPone, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Sandra Bernhard, Denis O’Hare, and Isaac Powell to return for AHS NYC.

"New Season. New City. New Fears," the show wrote on Twitter on September 29, 2022.

We can't wait.
