Ever wonder who the strongest Jedi of all time is? Here's a list of the 10 most powerful.

The Greatest Jedi of All Time, Including the New and Old Republic

Hello everyone.

I've noticed that people often compare the Jedi to see who is the strongest.

"It's Anakin, the best swordsman of the order."

"No, Obi-Wan defeated him."

"Clearly it's Luke Skywalker."

The discussion is interminable—until now. I've put together the collection of the top 10 strongest Jedi of all time. I'll start from number 10 and work my way up to number one. Of course, I will justify my choices and tell you why I sorted them this way.

There are some Jedi here you all know as well as some who didn't appear in blockbuster movies.

So, without further delay, let's see who are the greatest Jedi of all time!

Don't forget that you can discuss any of my articles live and in-person if you're following my stream!

Jacen Solo

Jacen Solo

10. Jacen Solo: The Prodigy Who Failed

Jacen Solo is the son of Han Solo and Leia. He was born in Coruscant and passed his childhood trying to avoid kidnapping and assassination attempts that targeted him because of his famous parents.

He began training in the ways of the Force at age 13 with his twin sister, Jaina Solo, on Yavin 4. They were taught by their uncle, Luke Skywalker. His younger brother was Anakin Solo.

Jacen was against violence and preferred not to fight in the front lines in the war against the Vongs (a race that nearly destroyed the New Republic), but he joined an assassination task force led by his brother, Anakin. Unfortunately, his brother was killed in that mission, and Jacen had to step up and take leadership, vanquishing his enemies and returning in mourning.

After that incident, the Vongs managed to capture Jacen. They tortured him for a year, and he ended up slipping to the Dark Side of the Force.

Jacen eventually managed to escape his captors and slowly joined the Jedi Cause again, but he was already convinced that the ends justify the means. He then had the vision that changed his life: He saw the future and discovered that if he didn't join the Sith, he would kill his uncle, Luke Skywalker, and the galaxy would be consumed. Therefore, he took the leap.

He joined the Sith, turned on his family and friends, tortured his former Jedi apprentice, Ben Skywalker, and killed Luke Skywalker's love, Mara Jade.

Irony had it that his former best friend and training companion—his twin sister, Jaina Solo—was the Jedi who finally killed him, but only after he became a Sith Master named Darth Caedus.

Ki-Adi Mundi

Ki-Adi Mundi

9. Ki-Adi Mundi: The General

Ki-Adi Mundi was born in Cerea and favored the independence of the world.

He was always held in high regard by the Jedi Council, and he was one of the only Jedi to ever sit on the Jedi Council before obtaining the rank of Jedi Master.

Mundi was also granted a personal exemption by the Jedi Council. Even though Jedi traditionally can't get married, he was granted permission because of his species' low birth rate. He maintained a polygamous relationship with five spouses and seven children, although he tried never to bond with them.

Master Ki-Adi Mundi was a shock Jedi. He was always involved in great wars, always seen in the heat of the conflict, and always fighting in the front lines. During the Clone Wars, he fought in the front lines against countless droid armies and almost died in a lightsaber duel against General Grievous.

In the Battle of Cerea, all of his family was killed, and he grieved by becoming even more committed to the Jedi cause. He dueled the Dark Jedi Knight Asajj Ventress and led numerous assaults on various Separatist Droid Foundries.

His ability to enter huge battles on the front lines and come out unharmed, his wisdom that led the Jedi Council to allow him to sit on the Council before becoming a Master, and the fact that he was one of the only Jedi who started his training after infancy age give Mundi a rightful position on this list.

8. Kit Fisto: Master of Underwater Lightsaber Fighting

Kit Fisto was a powerful Jedi Knight. He, like Ki-Adi Mundi, was one of the generals who led the clone army against the droid army.

Kit Fisto's most notable exploits are underwater. His underwater Lightsaber fighting prowess is extreme and a beauty to watch.

Like Ki-Adi Mundi, Fisto came across the Jedi Killer General Grievous, whom he almost killed—almost, because Grievous escaped by activating his personal security droids, which caught Fisto's apprentice, Nahdar Vebb.

And, like Ki-Adi Mundi, Festo dueled the dark Jedi assassin, Asajj Ventress.

On his last evening, the great general grabbed his lightsaber and went to meet Mace Windu. They were going to arrest Senator Palpatine—Darth Sidious. On that evening, at the hands of the Sith Master, Kit Fisto perished.

Plo Koon

Plo Koon

7. Plo Koon: The Hero of the Republic

Plo Koon was one of Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn's best friends.

Koon started his career as a Jedi Guardian. He had awesome lightsaber skills and was one of the best fighters ever. If the Jedi needed someone for a mission that required lots of lightsaber combat and a special commando able to subdue enemies with overwhelming numbers, Plo Koon was the choice.

He fought in the Stark Hyperspace Wars and was a general in the clone wars. He belonged to the Jedi Council, but did not join at the Council's first request (he refused the first request, believing that another Jedi with a stronger mind (Qui-Gon) should be the chosen).

Plo Koon and his master, Tyvokka, were awesome starfighter pilots who were chosen to do a space mission to negotiate with Stark forces during the Stark Hyperspace War. The negotiations degenerated in a great space conflict, and Tyvokka was shot down in the crossfire. When Plo Koon saw his master go down, he rallied the other fighters and led a miraculous victory against overwhelming odds. This made Plo Koon a Hero of the Republic.

Plo Koon's elite Starfighter abilities made him the ultimate Jedi General of the skies, and in the Clone Wars, he commanded in the air while Kit Fisto and Ki-Adi Mundi commanded from the ground.

When Senator Palpatine gave Order 66—for the clones to turn and kill the Jedi—Plo Koon's fighter was shot down, and the titan fell.

Nomi Sunrider

Nomi Sunrider

6. Nomi Sunrider: The Strongest Woman Jedi of All Time

She was a human female married to a Jedi Knight in training, Andur Sunrider.

While they were on a trip, they were ambushed by Bogga the Hutt's soldiers, who were after the Adegan Crystals Andur was carrying. On that day, Nomi Sunrider witnessed the assassination of her husband. After his death, she picked up his lightsaber and began her path toward becoming the strongest female Jedi ever.

Under Jedi Master Thon, she become a full-fledged Jedi Knight.

She fought in the Great Sith War against the greatest Sith of All time—Exar Kun—and his apprentice, Qel-Droma.

She watched as Qel-Droma slew his own brother, and, crying in pain, she used her immense power to sever Qel-Droma's connection with the Force. She was vital in ending the Great Sith War.

After the war, she began climbing the Jedi Ranks and became the head of all the Jedi Order. The Order was in bad shape at that time, and so, as Head Master, she set upon rebuilding it.

This was millenniums before the appearance of Anakin Skywalker, but even after her death, her legacy was preserved and kept in Jedi Books.

5. Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Legend

Obi-Wan Kenobi, later known as Ben Kenobi, was a legendary Jedi who shaped the galaxy with his decisions.

He was the master of both Luke Skywalker and Luke's father, Anakin Skywalker.

He was taken as an apprentice by Qui-Gon Jinn, and he became the first in 1,000 years to ever defeat a Sith Lord in one-on-one combat when he fought and defeated Darth Maul. He was also one of the last members of the High Jedi Council.

And while both Ki-Adi Mundi and Kit Fisto had close scrapes with the Jedi Killer General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi dueled Grievous and killed him easily. Following Order 66, Commander Cody opened fire on him, but he survived.

After the assassination attempt, Obi-Wan went to meet his former master, Yoda and together, they realized there weren't many Jedi left. They also soon realized Anakin Skywalker had turned and become Darth Vader, a new Sith Lord. Lord Vader killed the remaining Jedi at the Jedi Temple and Obi-Wan made the decision of attacking the Dark Lord he taught himself.

After an epic battle, Kenobi proved that he was one of the strongest Jedi by again defeating a Sith Lord in combat: Darth Vader. Kenobi left him to die in a lava storm and took Vader's son, Luke Skywalker, to live with the Lars family.

After Luke grew up, the old Obi-wan started to teach him the ways of the Force because Darth Vader had survived and established a reign of terror with Palpatine.

Obi-Wan then dueled the Sith Lord Darth Vader again, but he was older and Vader was at his prime. This time, Vader defeated his master, who became one with the Force. Even after his death, Obi-Wan guided Luke to Yoda and advised him throughout his life.

Mace Windu

Mace Windu

4. Mace Windu: One of the Most Skilled Lightsaber Duelists in History

Mace Windu was Master of the Jedi Order until the time of the battle of Genosis, at which point he gave the title to Master Yoda.

Windu created the Lightsaber form Vaapad, the modern seventh form of Lightsaber combat. He was the only practitioner of this style who didn't fall to the Dark Side.

Mace Windu lead 212 Jedi to the Battle of Genosis and killed the infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett. He was a High Jedi General and considered to be the best Jedi Lightsaber wielder ever.

His saber had a purple crystal that toned his blade that particular color.

On a mission, Windu dueled Sith Lord Count Dooku and won, but Dooku managed to escape.

On his ultimate night, Mace Windu joined Kit Fisto and went to arrest Senator Palpatine. He dueled Palpatine, who was about to be defeated when Anakin Skywalker betrayed him, and the once High Master Jedi met his fate.

3. Revan: One of the Greatest Sith, Now One of the Greatest Jedi

He was Kreia's Padawan, recognized by the Jedi Order as their greatest champion and an amazing military strategist. He had an enormous amount of influence.

The Mandalorians call him Revan the Butcher.

Revan was once a great Sith Lord, but the Jedi Order managed to erase his memory and use him for their own cause—which shows just how much respect they had for him.

Revan found himself in love with Bastilla Shan, and together they quested for the Star Forge's Location, the place where Darth Malak, former Sith Apprentice of Revan himself and now a Sith Lord, was leading the war against the Republic. Revan invaded countless Sith Bases, killed hundred of Sith soldiers, dueled and killed dozens of Sith Apprentices and Masters and finally fought and defeated Darth Malak's apprentice, Darth Brandon.

However, Malak captured Bastilla and converted her to the Dark Side through torture. Revan pursued his love and dueled with her. Upon her defeat, Bastilla told Revan everything and asked him to turn to the Dark Side and assume his rightful position with her on his side. Raven refused and went straight to Malak.

Darth Malak had imprisoned many Jedi and stole their Force power to himself. His stolen force was boosted by the Star Forge, which in combination with dark energies made him more powerful than ever. Even so, Revan was able to defeat Malak and kill him. Bastilla came to her senses and used her battle meditation to facilitate the Republic's fleet attack on the Star Forge.

Revan was then declared Hero of The Republic and Savior of the Republic.

He then departed because he felt the menace of the true Sith approaching and he never returned.

Revan was the only figure in history that was neither Jedi nor Sith. Instead, he was just someone that always did what was right.

  • Jedi Master: Kreia
  • Sith Master: Yuthura Ban

Revan's Apprentices

  • Jedi Apprentices: Malak
  • Sith Apprentices: Darth Malak

2. Yoda: The Master Who Surpassed His Master and Was Surpassed in Turn by His Student

Yoda was the Master of the Jedi Order and the Leader of the Jedi Council for longer than everybody else. He trained almost all Jedi you can think of, and he was known by his mastery of the Force, ultimate wisdom, and prowess with a lightsaber.

Although Yoda is revered as a master of the sword, able to dominate all fighting skills, his choice was to teach the younger generations and give them the benefit of knowledge and experience. He dedicated his life to teaching.

One night, Yoda, the Grand Master of the Jedi, confronted Darth Sidious, the ultimate Sith Master. The duel was intense, and in the heat of the battle, Yoda had a vision: He was losing, and he couldn't die there because he had to train Luke. So he ran away through the service pipes and escaped on a speeder.

"Into exile I must go. Failed, I have," Master Yoda mused over his failure.

Luke Skywalker

1. Luke Skywalker: No Doubt About This One

He was a Galactic Civil War Hero.

Trained by his father's Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, he quested to defeat the Empire. Like Plo Koon, he was an exceptional pilot, with the X-Wing as his bird of choice.

Skywalker destroyed the first Death Star and joined the Rebel Alliance.

Palpatine was developing a second Death Star and he was guarding it with Vader. Luke Skywalker invaded the station and was brought to the Emperor by Vader.

Palpatine watched in delight as Darth Vader and his son Luke dueled each other. Luke won, but refused to convert to the Dark Side, so Palpatine, frustrated, unleashed all of his Force Lighting on Luke. As Darth Vader watched his son in agonizing pain, he remembered himself, turned to the Light Side, and became Anakin Skywalker once again. He killed Palpatine, only to die from the effort.

Luke founded the New Jedi Order and began training Jedi again. He assumed the title of Grand Master.

Luke was labelled as an invincible presence and he could foresee the future and had abilities no other Jedi had. Eventually, he died and became one with the Force. His time of death is unknown.

Questions & Answers

Question: Why is Mace Windu's lightsaber purple unlike anyone else's?

Answer: Canon-wise, Mace Windu was among the only Jedi of his time to be able to wield a purple lightsaber without being corrupted by the Dark Side of the Force (Purple Lightsabers did that). However, in reality, Samuel L. Jackson demanded it to be so as he has a tradition of having to own a purple item for each movie he makes.

Question: Who is the sexiest Jedi and Sith?

Answer: I would say Darth Zannah and Darth Talon as for Sith, Mara Jade, and Shira Brie for Jedi. Maybe Ahsoka if you're into Aliens.

Question: Why is Luke at the top of this list? Yoda is way more powerful.

Answer: If you read the books, you'll discover Luke is way more powerful. And remember this list is before Disney spoiled Luke and made him a muppet.

Question: Why isn't Anakin on this list of strongest Jedi of all time?

Answer: He is on my Sith list, you should check it out.

Question: How strong is Luke Skywalker?

Answer: If you consider the Disney version he is just an idiot and a muppet, but if you consider Lucas Star Wars, he is a GOD.

Question: Is Rey the worst Jedi?

Answer: Yes she is! To me she doesn't exist in the official timeline, and I think after the flop Star Wars was Disney will officially make it an alternate timeline in a couple of years as well.

Question: Why have you not mentioned Anakin Skywalker OR Qui-Gon Jin? They are both legends that deserver the top 5, if not top 10.

Answer: Agree on Anakin, but I chose to place him in the Top 10 Sith List. However, Qui-Gon doesn't quite make the cut for the Top 10, as it doesn't only consider harmony with the force and force mastery. but dueling skills, feats and so on.

Question: Why not Anakin as the strongest Jedi? He was the strongest force user in all of Star Wars, also one of the best lightsaber duelers and Obi-wan only defeated him because Anakin was new to the dark side of the force.

Answer: I decided to place Anakin at the Top 10 Sith list, it wouldn't make sense to analyze him in both lists as I was writing the lists in parallel.

Question: What about Ezra as one of the strongest Jedi?

Answer: Ezra would be a good candidate for the Top 25 List, however, he just doesn't make the cut for Top 10.

Question: Ashoka, Anakin, and Rey should be on this list?

Answer: Ashoka is good for the Top 25 List, but as for Rey, the list I wrote is Pre-Disney. Anakin is in my Top 10 Sith List.

Question: What are the top ten Sith Apprentices?

Answer: If you mean Sith Lords, I also wrote an article on them, and one you should definitely check out.

Question: Where did you get the information to make this list of strongest Jedi?

Answer: By reading all of the books and watching all the movies (Pre-Disney).

Question: Why does everyone choose Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Answer: Obi-Wan is one of the most popular Jedi ever, his fame gives him the high ground a lot of times. But honestly, he also deserves it.

Question: How strong is StarKiller?

Answer: Unfortunately, even before EU and Legends were deemed not cannon, Starkiller was NEVER canon so I didn't approach him. On the other hand, I would not get surprised if he becomes cannon in the future since he is a very well-liked character.

Question: How is Qui Gon not on this list and Ki Ado Mundi is?

Answer: It's always ungrateful to write lists like these because we have to weigh-in characters we love against each other. As far as force mastery is concerned, Qui-Gon is better, but this list considers a lot of different variables. Ki-Adi Mundi is a more well-rounded Jedi and considering every variable he just scored a bit higher.

Question: Why isn’t Rey in the top 10?

Answer: This list is Pre-Disney, as constantly mentioned.

Question: Do any of the Jedi's have a chance against Darth Sidious and who is the most powerful force user of the Jedi?

Answer: If you're considering manipulating the Force, Luke still holds 1st Place, but the rest of the list changes substantially. Darth Sidious is weaker than Luke but more powerful than the rest of them.

Question: Isn't Jacen Solo, Anakin Solo, and Jaina Solo all legends?

Answer: This list was written before Legends went non-canon. It is a pre-Disney list.

Question: Does the Star Wars Legends trilogy including Leia and Han’s Kids tie into the Disney Star Wars trilogy?

Answer: No, Disney made it non-canon and the trilogy is their own take on the story.

Question: Is the new Star Wars trilogy cannon?

Answer: It is, for now, but that is going to change very soon. To me, it isn't already.

Question: What about Rey as a strong Jedi?

Answer: This list is pre-Disney.

Question: Does Qui Qon have a master?

Answer: He was Master Yoda's apprentice.

Question: On which planet did Darth Vader die?

Answer: Depends on what you consider was his time of death. Maybe in Mustafar, depending on the previous sentence.

Question: Why is Yoda not at the top?

Answer: He's at the top, just not number 1.

Question: How powerful is Yaddle? Would she be on this list if you swapped her out for someone else?

Answer: Unfortunately, she doesn't stack up against the people on this list, but she would be a part of the Top 25 Jedi... or even the Top 10 Female Jedi lists.

Question: Where is Anakin Skywalker?

Answer: He is at my Top 10 Strongest Sith List.

George’s statement was inconsistent with the plot. Luke trains for minutes on screen and maybe a few weeks in canon and gets go training after that and then he becomes stronger than Anakin whos been training for 10 years in a curriculum approved by thousands used for a thousand years while Luke probably taught himself his own curriculum approved by no one.

I mean George Lucas did say Luke is the strongest Jedi to ever exist

unnamed on August 15, 2020:

I’m surprised everyone likes legends so much when Luke is way more overpowered than Rey in it.

unnamed on August 15, 2020:

@h the reason Luke is #1 is because there are comics and books about him becoming the most powerful, in the movies he isn’t. These comics and books are legends, and are not confirmed to have happened, so could simply be mythology made by Luke fans.

h on August 14, 2020:

Ok, I kind of agree,I just think that Anakin should have been in the list, and that Mace Windu and yoda are more powerful than Luke, but besides that, I´m ok with this

unnamed on August 14, 2020:

Because she left the Jedi order before she even became a Knight iirc. Though I don’t know a lot about TCW. So she didn’t even complete her training. If you means rebels Ashoka, who was able to almost beat Darth Vader, she literally said, “I am no Jedi.”, because she had forsaken the Jedi philosophy.

@Ashoka try hard An Anakin fanboy, you are. Stronger than Anakin, I am. Forced my old padawan to flee in 40 seconds, I did. Took 1 1/2 minutes to kill my old padawan, Anakin did. Even though amped through the dark side, he was, and had Obi Wans help, he did. The greatest failure of a Jedi, Anakin was. Betrayed us all, he did. Be trusted, he cannot. Grant him the rank of master, we must not. If listened to me in episode 1, the council did, be trained, he would have not, and survived, the Jedi order would’ve.

Ok don't come at me because in know she left the order and was only a padwan but she is technically a grey Jedi in rebels so why isn't ahsoka part of this?? And who dicided this Naomi girl was the strongest female Jedi? Does ahsoka, luminara all them not exist in this reality?? And also why is luks first? I mean I know he is strong in the force but that doesn't make him the best Jedi! He had a little bit of training from Yoda and obi wan. And that was it. All the other Jedi from the order had year apon years of Jedi trakning.

HighGround18 on June 04, 2020:

I personally think Obi-Wan should be at the top of this list.

I have to admit, I am biased, because he's a great character and he's played by Ewan McGregor, but think about it; Obi-Wan was considered the Master of Soresu, form three of lightsaber dueling. And not just the best in the galaxy, the best to ever exist. We see this in his duel with General Grievous, when he blocked eighteen of Grievous's strikes per second.

Had the Republic not ended, Obi-Wan would have had the potential to become a far greater Jedi than he already was. We also see in the Clone Wars that he is an excellent marksman, and is a very good pilot, despite having a dislike for flying.

Not to mention, Obi-Wan had an emotional capability that could rival Yoda's. He was a lot more in control of his feelings than Mace, and someone's emotional intelligence contributes to their power, especially in the case of a Jedi. The guy has literally been through hell. He lost his master, lost his love interest and saw his apprentice become a Sith, and not ONCE did he resolve to using the dark side(except for that one time in the Clone Wars, when he fought Darth Maul).

Another thing that contributes further to Obi-Wan's power is his intelligence. He is clever, strategic knowledgeable. He also possesses a certain childlike curiosity that tells him when something was worth investigating, and when it isn't.

Obi-Wan also tries to resolve conflict by negotiating, or finding a peaceful solution, rather than diving into a fight. He stays to the Jedi's

beliefs, but also knows when the council is wrong, which we see when he talks to Ahsoka in the Clone Wars season 7 about Anakin.

Hence, I believe Obi-Wan shoul be at the top of this list.

Luke isnt the most powerful Jedi, he killed tons of innocent little enslaved stormtroopers and he killed a bunch if animal's, we all know its not the Jedi way, i say Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, Wanna know why i chose Qui-Gon? He was the one to have trained Master Kenobi, and Master Kenobi lead to one of the most powerful Jedi, at the time of The Galactic Republic; He also trained the chosen one and killed him when he turned. But then Luke was born, and Obi-Wan made him a Jedi, although, he didn't train him, he did make him a Jedi Grand Master.

So its Obi-Wan, really

What about Rey? She was able to do the mind trick, makes thing float, and defeated Emperor Palpatine. She was also able to knock a trained stormtrooper! She did all this without proper training. Yoda could not kill Palpatine and Rey did! She was not trained as well as Yoda! So I think Rey should be in there. (You have to watch the movies.. The Force Awakens all the way to The Rise of Skywalker to get the full picture of Rey)

rokko erasmus on May 26, 2020:

all of this is speculation at best, so look at the history of each jedi known in both movies and games.

if Revan was included in the discussion everything would be speculation, if Revan had saved the republic {the good guy scenario} of the story . acording to jedi master vandar basicaly yoda,s ancient ancestor, Revan was extremely gifted and powerful far beyond any jedi of his time. hence the fact all the jedi crusaders followed him into war even againsed the jedi masters wishes. according to darth traya also a prominent dark lord who knew darth sion and darth nilhilus who aslo had enough power to consume entire worlds, considering that statement darth Traya said that when she saw revan she saw nothing but raw power and strength within him. setting him above them all by a considerable margin.

so taking everything that was said about him and his actions and story that followed into account he was by defintion the strongest jedi knight who ever lived and could easily over power even luke skywalker. defiantly a candidate for number 1 spot .

All yall looking over Plo Koon but he had Electric Judgment (A force power somewhat like force lightning) He is one of the best Jedi pliots (Other than Saesee Tiin) He beat Asajj Ventress in a duel with a broken arm, beat Yoda in a duel, and was in the Jedi High Council. Can't tell me he isn't atleast top 5.

Anakin should be on the list

Thanks bro!!

DwZaxsis290 on May 09, 2020:

Sigh! Okay why isn’t Anakin on this list asks dodo birds who don’t read!

This thread is about greatest or strongest JEDI!!! Not about someone training to be Jedi but turned to dark side and then became very powerful...Anakin was powerful but not most before he got hat and lightsaber up his keester by Obi-Wan... Read title of thread!

Anakin became Sith so I don’t think he would be welcome in Jedi drinking establishment

noneofyourbusiness on May 07, 2020:

Anakin Is DEFINITELY in the top ten as he defeated Count Dooku and won almost every battle in the clone wars AND had a higher midichlorian count than even yoda.

Are we forgetting about AHSOKA?? She should at least make the top 10.

Yuvi on April 27, 2020:

Mace windu is always gonna be the best, the way he mocked count Dooku with janga fetts head is insane

Ody on April 24, 2020:

Ok mace windu was not bested by anakin, he took out his light saber and chopped his hand off while windu was swinging his at palps.

SugarDaddy on April 16, 2020:

Hear me out, Yoda was beaten by sidious, which was bested by mace, who was beaten by Anakin, who was beaten by Obi Wan, and then obi wan pulled the ol'reliable transportation magic and became one with the force, So the most powerful Jedi is Obi-wan Kenobi, Logic Dictates it, he beat the best there is and didn't provide any opportunity for anyone to beat him making him the standing champion against Luke, but rating people by numbers is dumb.

Konisha on April 14, 2020:

Where’s Anakin? He had the highest midicolorian count is higher than any Jedi!

James on April 11, 2020:

You retards are all wrong Anakin is THE STRONGEST JEDI !!!! His midiclorian count is higher than ALL of Jedi including Yoda , just because he didn’t reach his “full potential “ doesn’t mean he’s not less powerful . It’s the midiclorians that count .

Master YEETs on April 10, 2020:

How did Anakin and Ahsoka not make this list? Especially Anakin, considering that Obi-Wan made it. Despite Anakin losing to Obi-Wan, Anakin was the stronger Jedi

BABY YODA on April 04, 2020:

Baby Yoda should be on this list because he already know how to use the force.

reyisgay on March 10, 2020:

Some people are talking about how Rey should be on the top 10 list, but I'd be surprised if she made top 100. She seems pretty cool, but the amount of training she has done just doesn't make her seem imposing. Sure, she has potential but make her put on some training before talking about her rank

notnick_6 on March 09, 2020:

Anakin would be on strongest Sith. Since he was Vader for most of his life.

kit fits for life on February 09, 2020:

you guys should know kit fits has right to be up there. first of all he's a jedi master obviously not as good as yoda but still just because he's not there for long doesn't mean he's not good. I could've seen him get more of a percentage but HE HAS FAME AND DESERVES IT

Darth Revan on February 05, 2020:

Revan should be number one, then Yoda, Kenobi, Anakin and then luke.

Matt key on February 03, 2020:

Honestly i feel windu is 1 and ray palpatine is second and luke is 3rd and anakin is 4th. Windu vs anakin... ankin would have gotten kicked into the lava and windu would have been like MouthaaFukka please.. And windu VS luke or ray would be crazy fights but windu beat palpatine in his prime alone if not gettin jumped by anakin aka darth vaider he would have won. If it werent for that he would be listed as #1 for sure

Nicky on February 03, 2020:

Where is Anakin? Luke got his powers from his dad. Anakin has highest midchlorian count than anyother jedi!!!!

Anakin? on February 01, 2020:

Where the hell is Anakin? I was sure that he would easily be top 3 but isnt even on the list?!

Flack on January 31, 2020:

Anakin was way stronger than Luke. First of all, he had more skill. The only reason he lost to Luke was because he was old, rusty, and he was going easy on his son. I understand why you put Luke first and not Darth/Anakin. Luke was very strong and powerful with the force. He had okay lightsaber dueling. He lost his arm against darth and you still think Luke should be first. I hope you understand.

Zac on January 31, 2020:

Qui-gon Jinn should have been on this list, he was, in my opinion, one of the wisest Jedi of all time.

I think Yoda is the best not luke

Revan on January 26, 2020:

Luke is not number one.

Lukas on January 25, 2020:

Anakin is a tricky subject and Luke beat him because anakin or Darth Vader couldn't bend his arms as well as he used to and his fighting style needed that mobility therefore he had to develop or learn a less mobility based Version of his form and now he couldn't do as well as he didn't have a lot of experience with this form and being a lot slower he wasn't as powerful as he could've been another thing is that he couldn't use a ability that he knew how to use that is force lightning the thing that stopped him was the super conductor alloy limbs and cybernetics the emperor had got him incase Vader tried to overthrow him this is why he is not up here if he had beat obi wan this wouldn't be the case and he might've got on the list, but if this would've happened many other things could happen to anakin or Vader...

. on January 25, 2020:

Why tf Anakin isn't in this list. He should be #1.

Cody on January 17, 2020:

Who wouldda thunk it, 6 of the the 10 strongest Jedi of all time were all on the high Council at the time of the prequels. And half didn't survive the purge. Nomi was a good pull, you could have dug a little deeper. K'kruhk should be in the top 5, or satele shan, or Ven Zallow on that note.

Stokanator on January 13, 2020:

Although I don’t believe there was a single Jedi more connected and wiser with the force than Yoda, there are several examples of lightsaber duelist despite possessing less connection to the force who were able to best or leaving the battle with the upper hand.

I consider Mace Windu by far the best lightsaber duelist in the history of Star Wars (based characters who participated in the theatrical movies and the Clone Wars TV adaptations). Mace Windu appeared to overcome Palpatine quickly, decisively, and convincingly. Despite Master Yoda having a much wiser, stronger connection to the force struggled against Palpatine. I don’t believe Palpatine ever was able to put Yoda in serious danger, Yoda did retreat, which I never quite understood. At 900 plus years old what do you have to lose, unless he saw and understood he had a much longer and detrimental role in the future of the continuation of the Jedi returning (training Luke Skywalker), I would have imagined Yoda fighting to the death.

Bob on January 13, 2020:

Luke Skywalker makes sense for being high on the list because most people who comment only take the movies into consideration for determining abilities and strengths. Although, Luke definitely doesn’t deserve the title of strongest Jedi/force users. There are a lot of other force users that definitely have special abilities/swordsmanship that can best Luke.

Hux on January 12, 2020:

when they forget about the hero of typhon

Enforcer on January 11, 2020:

Oh and to all "anakin fans". Anakin was told to be the best POTENTIAL among all the force users, but he never reached even half of his full potential. Before he was Darth Vader he was strong, but not as anyone on this list, ofc we could discuss his ultimate potential, and what could have been achieved by him if he remained in the jedi side, but the fact is that his jedi life wasn't that great.

Enforcer on January 11, 2020:

I think Qui-Gon should be on this list. He was a "grey force user" that lived through his vision of the Living Force (and even taught Yoda about it in order to become one with the Force and hence, become a force spirit). I never understood how did he lose to Darth Maul, considering Yoda respected him as one of the most skillfull lightsaber duelist in the galaxy, but I'm pretty sure he could beat Plo-Kon or Kit for example in 2vs1 by himself. The Legends (not canon anymore sadly) lore about him is simply awesome. Not the strongest but probably the most UNDERRATED jedi of all time.

alddd on January 09, 2020:

Why isnt anakin on this list

Laura on January 06, 2020:

They should make a new one and put Rey at 4 or 3 or make best lightsabers of all time and put Darth maul's lightsaber or kylo's lightsaber at 1 also why is Luke best??

Casen on January 06, 2020:

Gald Rey isn’t ok this list she is honestly one of the weakest and could never hold up in a lightsaber fight against anyone on this list. If you think Rey is a good Jedi than you 1. Are just a mainstream new trio fan and have looked into nothing g else Star Wars related or 2. Need to read more about the feats of other Jedi and how they could absolutely annihilate Rey. It’s obvious she only won to have a good ending and even then she only won because the other Jedi in the force helped her. She is a total cop-out Hollywood character that broke all the lore lol. Also a Luke isn’t as strong as Yoda, Obi-wan, or Mace (he is still stronger than Rey though lol).
