What's a DUFF?
The DUFF is an American comedy film based on the novel “The DUFF: Designated Ugly Fat Friend” written by Kody Keplinger. Directed by Ari Sandel, the movie was released on February 20, 2015, starring Mae Whitman, Bella Thorne, and Robbie Amell. It tells the story of Bianca, a high school senior who initiates an order rebellion after learning that she is being dubbed as the ‘DUFF’ or Designated Ugly Fat Friend by her prettier, more popular classmates.
