Zuri had compromised her values and morals because of greed. In the end, she came clean and returned to Stephon.

How Did the Movies Come About?

The Seven Deadly Sins movies are based on the anthology series written by Victoria Christopher Murray.

When Shaun Robinson, also executive producer, heard about the Seven Deadly Sins anthology, she partnered with Jakes’ production company and Lifetime to make the movies a reality.

They originally planned to shoot the first three films: Lust, Envy, and Greed in a row. Because of COVID-19, they could film only fhe first two movies two last year. Lust and Envy were filmed in Canada and aired in April 2021. Wrath and Greed were moved to Atlanta and aired on Lifetime in April 2022, exactly an entire year later.

Will There Be More Seven Deadly Sins Movies?

Lifetime fans are wondering if there will be movies based on the other three deadly sins: pride, gluttony, and sloth. Perhaps there will be.

Jakes and Robinson said they want to film the other deadly sins if the first four movies go well. As of now, Victoria Christopher Murray has not written books about the other three deadly sins. Therefore, there are no scripts for more movies in the series.
