Hollywood is full of beautiful and glamorous celebrities, and sometimes you get a pair that look startlingly similar. Here is a list of 13 celebrity doppelgängers that make us do a double take.
Victoria Justice and Nina Dobrev
Victoria Justice: An American actress and singer most known for her role as Tori Vega on Nickelodeon's Victorious and the MTV series Eye Candy. She is also known for her appearances in films including The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, Fun Size, and Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. Justice has also recorded songs for her acting projects, including for Victorious and the Nickelodeon musical Spectacular!
Nina Dobrev: A Canadian/Bulgarian actress whose first acting role was of Mia Jones in the hit Canadian series Degrassi: The Next Generation. She would later star in The Vampire Diaries, playing the dual roles of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce. Dobrev's film credits include Let's Be Cops, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and Flatliners.
With their long, dark tresses, matching brown eyes and distinguished facial features, it's easy to see how the two actresses are often mistaken for one another. Us Weekly once even ran a story about Dobrev but used a picture of Justice. Of their uncanny similarities, Justice had said, "I've never really had a doppelgänger in my life, so this is like my first experience with this thing. I thought that was hilarious the fact [Us Weekly] put a picture of me thinking it was her."
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem
Jeffrey Dean Morgan: An American actor known for his roles as John Winchester on Supernatural, and as Denny Duquette on Grey's Anatomy. He is perhaps most well-known as the baseball bat-wielding villain Negan on The Walking Dead. His film credits include Watchmen, The Losers, and Rampage.
Javier Bardem: A Spanish actor known for his Oscar-winning performance as the psychopathic assassin Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men. His other lead performances include roles in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Skyfall, Biutiful, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
It's hard not to do a double-take when looking at these two handsome leading men! Apparently, The Walking Dead star is often mistaken for the Oscar winner and once got him in trouble, having said in an interview, "I get (mistaken for) Javier Bardem a lot...I went to a party here in New York, and as I was walking the red carpet, the paparazzi just started screaming, 'Javier, Javier!' And I flipped them off...the next day in the New York Daily News or whatever, there was a picture of me flipping the camera off and it said, 'Javier is an a**hole!'"
Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel
Katy Perry: An American pop singer who first burst onto the scene with her 2008 hit song, "I Kissed A Girl." She has released many albums since then, including One of the Boys, Teenage Dream, Prism, and Witness. The singer has also appeared in The Smurfs films and most recently became a judge on the hit reality show American Idol.
Zooey Deschanel: An American actress and sing-songwriter, who starred as Jessica Day on the Fox sitcom New Girl from 2011 to 2018. Her film credits include Elf, Yes Man, 500 Days of Summer, and Trolls. Deschanel is also one-half of the musical duo She & Him, who have released six studio albums since 2006.
With their long, dark hair and striking blue eyes, it's no surprise that these two celebrities are compared to each other often. In a 2012 interview with David Letterman, Deschanel had said of the resemblance, "Friends of mine would call me up and say, 'You know, I saw you at that restaurant last night. I waved to you. You just blinked and looked at me like I was a stranger.' It turned out that it was all just Katy Perry."
Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard
Jessica Chastain: A Golden Globe-winning American actress whose performance as an inspiring socialite in The Help earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. With their fair complexions and red tresses, the actresses could definitely pass as sisters! In a hilarious and playful song, Howard lip-synced along to a song about the mix-up. The Jurassic World star even mocked, "I'm not Jessica Chastain!" while rapping it. In return, Chastain shared the video on her Instagram.
Dax Shepard and Zach Braff
Dax Shepard: The funnyman and actor is perhaps most known for portraying Crosby Braverman in the comedy-drama Parenthood, and is also married to the equally hilarious Kristen Bell. Shepard's film credits include Without a Paddle, Employee of the Month, Hit and Run, and most recently in the movie reboot of CHiPs, the last two of which he wrote and directed.
Zach Braff: The actor and director is best known for his role as J.D. on the beloved television series Scrubs, which ran from 2001 to 2010. He made his directorial debut in 2004 for Garden State, in which he also starred. Braff has made appearances in Chicken Little, Oz the Great and Powerful, and Wish I Was Here.
Both actors have very distinct facial features and blue eyes, making them easy to mix up. In fact, Braff says that he is often mistaken for Shepard, and even did a face-swap of the two, effectively demonstrating just how similar they look.
Mila Kunis and Sarah Hyland
Mila Kunis: An American and Ukrainian actress perhaps best-known for her role as Jackie Burkhart on That 70's Show (1998-2006) and as the voice of Meg Griffin on Family Guy. Kunis has many film credits to her name, including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Black Swan, Oz the Great and Powerful, and Bad Moms. The actress married her That 70's Show co-star Ashton Kutcher in 2015, making fans everywhere rejoice.
Sarah Hyland: Best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the mockumentary sitcom Modern Family since 2009, the actress has also had roles in films including Geek Charming, Scary Movie 5, Vampire Academy, and XOXO. Hyland was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia and is open about her struggles and journey with the condition.
The two petite, brunette beauties are often mistaken for one another, a fact they both find amusing. The Modern Family star told InStyle that she met Kunis at a party in 2010, and they discussed how often they're mistaken for one another. "She said that sometimes she pretends she's me because it makes her feel young. I asked if I could pretend to be her next time somebody asks me if I'm her, and she said OK."
Margot Robbie and Jaime Pressly
Margot Robbie: An Australian actress who's breakout role was alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's 2013 black comedy The Wolf of Wall Street. She has since had leading roles in Focus, The Legend of Tarzan, and as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. Robbie received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her portrayal of disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya in 2017.
Jaime Pressly: An actress and model best-known for playing Joy Turner on the NBC sitcom My Name is Earl, for which she was nominated for two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Pressly has also appeared in the films Joe Dirt and I Love You, Man, and currently co-stars on the CBS sitcom Mom.
The blonde beauties have almost the exact facial features, and though Pressly is 13 years old than Robbie, the resemblance is uncanny. The Mom star joked about their likeness when questioned by photographers, saying, "Right, right, well that would be she looks like me! I think she's great yeah, I've loved everything she's done."
Tom Hardy and Logan Marshall-Green
Tom Hardy: An English actor and former model who made his film debut in 2001's Black Hawk Down. Hardy has had notable roles in movies such as Lawless, The Revenant (which he received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination), Mad Max: Fury Road, and as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. He will star as Eddie Brock/Venom in 2018's Venom.
Logan Marshall-Green: An American actor who is best-known for his roles in the television shows 24, The O.C. and Dark Blue. He has also made appearances in the films Prometheus, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Upgrade.
The actor's facial features are strikingly similar, and Marshall-Green even commented on the resemblance. "I'd be honored to be in the same sentence as Tom Hardy. I've been a twin since the day I was born--fraternal, but we look a lot alike--so I've already been mixed up with another man my entire life."
Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly
Leighton Meester: The actress and singer is best known for her portrayal as the devious socialite Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl (2007-2012), and has appeared in films like The Roommate, Monte Carlo, and The Judge. She made her Broadway debut in 2014, starring in Of Mice and Men, and released her debut album Heartstrings in 2014. Meester will star in the upcoming show Single Parents in the fall.
Minka Kelly: An actress who appeared on the hit show Friday Night Lights as Lyla Garrity, and in the films The Roommate, The Butler, and Papa: Hemingway in Cuba. She currently stars in the DC universe web series Titans, as Dawn Gregor/Dove.
The stars could easily pass as sisters! They also shared a college dorm room in the 2011 thriller The Roommate, making audiences do a double take.
Will Ferrell and Chad Smith
Will Ferrell: The comedic actor and all around funnyman is known for his iconic performances on Saturday Night Live, as well as his starring roles in a slew of hit films, including Elf, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Blades of Glory, and Step-Brothers. Ferrell's newest film will co-star John C. Reilly, as they take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's characters in Holmes and Watson.
Chad Smith: The American musician has been a drummer for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers since 1988, and is regarded as one of the most highly sought-after drummers. He has recorded with artists including Johnny Cash, The Dixie Chicks, Kid Rock, Jake Bugg, and The Avett Brothers.
The resemblance between the two celebrities is eerily similar! The two even engaged in a drum-off in 2014, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon while dressed alike. You definitely had to do a double take when the two sat side by side!
Zoe Saldana and Thandie Newton
Zoe Saldana: The actress caught her big break when she was cast in 2009 in the roles of Nyota Uhura in Star Trek and Neytiri in Avatar. Saldana has also starred in Colombiana, Out of the Furnace, and as Gamora in The Guardians of the Galaxy films and Avengers: Infinity War.
Thandie Newton: The English actress has appeared in a slew of movies, including Crash, The Pursuit of Happyness, For Colored Girls, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. She currently stars on the hit HBO show Westworld as madam Maeve Millay.
The stunning raven-haired actresses are often mistaken for one another. Victoria Beckham once mistook Newton for Saldana. The actress expressed, “It was actually okay as Zoe is a rare beauty, but really? Up close? Come on! And, I’m British!”
Elijah Wood and Daniel Radcliffe
Elijah Wood: The actor is most recognized for his role as Frodo Baggins in the epic film trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003). He has been steadily acting since 1989, appearing in movies such as The Adventures of Huck Finn, Deep Impact, 9, and The Last Witch Hunter.

He has since expanded his resume by appearing in movies such as The Woman in Black, Victor Frankenstein, and Swiss Army Knife. He also took to Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Perhaps it’s magic, but these two actors look startlingly alike! Although, it seems as though the dark haired, blue eyed men are getting a bit tired of the fascination. In an interview with Conan O’Brien, Wood stated, “We get it, the joke is over.”
Sophia Loren and Sofia Vergara
Sophia Loren: The Italian starlet began her film career at 16 in 1950, and appeared in movies like The Pride and the Passion, Houseboat, and It Started in Naples. She became the first actress to win an Oscar for a foreign-language performance for her role as Cesira in Two Women.
Sofia Vergara: The Colombian-American actress is most known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family. She has also starred in The Three Stooges, Machete Kill, Chef, and Hot Pursuit.
The sexy bombshells are both striking beauties, and Vergara looks so much like Loren did when she was younger. Vergara even sees the resemblance, and had hoped the Italian actress would appear on Modern Family as her mother.
