15 Beautiful Blonde Actresses
Well, it took a little longer to get Round 4 of what has become my most popular string of articles ready, but it is finally done and ready for your inspection. I believe that though this makes the 46th through 60th entries on my list of Most Beautiful Blond Actresses, you will still find that these ladies are quite capable of topping any list of beautiful women.
Some are relative newcomers you may have never heard of. Others are classic beauties. I am sure there are still many women you believe should have been included by now who have not been. But one thing is certain. These are all beautiful women.
When I published third round of my Most Beautiful Blonde Actresses series, the second round had not had anyone jump out into the lead in its poll. Kristen Bell, Amber Heard and Hayden Panettiere were fighting it out at 15%, 13% and 11% respectively. At this point Kristen has moved up to 17%, but Amber has moved up to 16%, so while Hayden has dropped to 12%, the Round 2 is still too close to call.
That is not the case with Round 3 where a very clear winner has emerged. Elisha Cuthbert moved into an early lead which she still holds with a whopping 33% of the votes. Her closest competition is Michelle Pfeiffer with only 9% of the votes. I must admit I have been a little disappointed with one of my personal favorites, Maggie Grace, who I expected to do better than the 7% she has managed to pull in. From her days on Lost to her more recent film roles, she always seems to have a strong following that is not reflected here.
But enough dwelling on the past. We have fifteen more beautiful blond women just waiting for our attention, so let's take a look at Round 4 of my Most Beautiful Blonde Actresses series...
Sarah Christine Roemer was born August 28, 1984, in San Diego. It probably came as no surprise to anyone who knew her that this California girl would soon turn her attention to modeling and acting. She began modeling at 15 years old and first appeared on a movie screen in the 2006 film, The Grudge 2. Since then Sarah has had a string of motion pictures including Disturbia and the highly underrated Fired Up! She also starred in the short-lived television series The Event.
Sarah has proven herself to be a strong actress in both dramatic and comedic roles and always brightens the screen with her sunny disposition and radiant beauty. Whether delivering lines or simply bringing beauty to the screen, Sarah is an actress who is always and asset to a film. As she continues to gain new fans, we can only expect her career to continue to grow and blossom.
Born December 17, 1977, Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick has developed a loyal following of fans with her appearances in everything from B-movie horror (the awesome Satan's Little Helper) to butt-kicking action (the seriously overlooked Killers). Strikingly beautiful, this blue-eyed blond bombshell is known not only for her gorgeous good looks but for her devastating martial arts moves as well. Katheryn has the skills to back up her movie personae, working as a professional bodyguard when not on the set filming movies.
Sondra Locke may be better known as Clint Eastwood's one-time girlfriend than for her acting career but that does not mean she is any less talented. She received both an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her very first film, The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. She also received a Golden Globe nomination that year for Most Promising Newcomer. She had some early success but there is no denying her biggest accomplishments were the six films she made with Clint Eastwood between 1976 and 1983.
Beginning with The Outlaw Josey Wales, Sondra began an on-and-off screen relationship with Eastwood that would last fourteen years. the couple's last film together, however, was 1983's Dirty Harry tale, Sudden Impact in which Sondra played a revenge seeking rape victim turned serial killer who it is strongly implied Harry lets walk away after the last rapist is dead. This became the most successful film of the Dirty harry franchise. It was also Sondra's finest (and some would say final significant) performance.
For more than three and a half decades, Jodie Foster has been a star. From the time she appeared in the 1976 classic film Taxi Driver, fans as well as movie directors have constantly had their eye on Jodie. She actually began her career a few years before but Taxi Driver was her first major role. She has won two Academy Awards for Best Actress, first for 1989's The Accused and then for 1991's Silence of the Lambs. Of course, now she is a director and movie maker herself, but there still is no denying her box office appeal as an actress.
Born November 19, 1962, Jodie has grown up with the eyes of the world upon her, yet she has always been gracious, poised and simply stunning. She has handled fame and success admirably, even during some rocky time when she was stalked by some mentally disturbed individuals including John Hinckley, Jr. who became obsessed with Jodie and eventually attempted to assassinate then-President Ronald Reagan in a twisted attempt to impress the star.
Rebecca Alie Romijn was born November 6, 1972, in Berkeley, California, and first gained fame as a fashion model who appeared in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and worked with Victoria's Secret among others. She has routinely made many lists of the world's most beautiful women for publications such as Maxim and FHM. She began acting in the late 1990s but had her breakthrough when she starred as Mystique in the first X-Men film in 2000. Rebecca was married to actor John Stamos from September 1998 until March 2005 and used the hyphenated last name Romjin-Stamos during that time. She later married Jerry O'Connell, another actor though this time she has avoided the hyphenation.
Brittany Leanna "Britt" Robertson was born April 18, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina but grew up about an hour away on the small town of Chester, South Carolina. She began acting on stage locally but was making frequent trips to Los Angeles for auditions before she even became a teenager. Those trips paid off with small roles on television until she landed a starring role in the film The Ghost Club.
Since that time Britt has been landing role after role with her career quickly gaining steam. Her biggest break came with a major role in the film Dan in Real Life starring Steve Carell in 2007. The last few years have seen continued success for Britt on both the big and small screens including a recurring role as Cassie Blake on The Secret Circle television series.
In addition to being known for her many film roles, Veronica Lake popularized what became known as the peekaboo hairstyle that featured a lock of hair falling across her right eye. The hairstyle was copied by women around the world though Veronica abandoned the style during World War II while encouraging women working in factories during the war to adopt safer hairstyles. Many say this may have harmed her career as her unique look was quite notable, but the star admirably was moire concerned with the well-being of her fans.
Born in 1922, Lake passed away sadly at the relatively young age of 50 due to the effects of alcoholism in 1973. Her film career was for all extents and purposes over by the mid-1950s though she did make a couple more films, the last of which was the self-financed ultra-low budget Flesh Feast. Her glory days were well behind her by then, but for fans those days live on now and forever.
Beatrice Rosen was born in New York City but was raised in France and has probably gained the most notice in films with small roles in The Dark Knight and 2012 playing Russian girlfriends of wealthy men. Her next movie is a French film called Road Nine where she stars as a character named Nadia. Nadia... Isn't that a Russian name? She has also had recurring television roles on Charmed and Cuts as well as numerous guest appearances on shows such as Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Smallville. One thing is certain, however... with beauty like this, we will certainly be seeing more of lovely Beatrice!
In 2006, before she ever appeared on screen, The New York Times was advising its readers to remember Gillian Jacobs name. While appearing in off-Broadway plays, the young star and Julliard graduate caught the attention of the newspaper's writers.
Since that time, Gillian has appeared in several films and landed a recurring role on the offbeat sitcom Community. As the lovely lady continues to add to her resumé, she continues to gain more and more fans. Without a doubt, before long, remembering Gillian's name will not be a problem for anyone!
Known for playing supporting roles, Julie Bowen certainly seems to the perfect choice for the role of the "hot wife" or "sexy mom". With a smile that lights up the screen and brown eyes that sparkle and shine, this is one classically beautiful lady. She currently portrays Claire Dunphy on the sitcom Modern Life, a role for which she has won several awards for including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2011. She may not have a name that everyone knows, but she definitely has a face that most people find familiar when they see her on screen.
Linda Evans is best known for her television work, most notably as Audra Barkley in the 1960s series The Big Valley and as Krystle Grant Jennings Carrington in the 1980s series Dynasty. She also guest starred on many series and made multiple appearances on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet and The Love Boat.
Born November 18, 1942, Linda has maintained her beauty throughout her years. In October of 2011, she published her memoirs entitles Recipes for Life: My Memories. At 69 years of age, this vivacious blonde is still turning heads!
Blake Lively is best known as Serena van der Woodsen on the hit series Gossip Girl, but she first gained notice as Bridget Vreeland in the film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Since then, she has appeared in several movies including award-winning roles in Elvis and Anabelle and The Town as well as the superhero flick Green Lantern opposite Ryan Reynolds. Blake is from a family with a brother, a half-brother and two half-sisters, all of whom are in the entertainment industry along with both her parents. Blake is definitely a star on the rise.
Claudia Schiffer was born in Rheinberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany, on August 25, 1970. She gained international fame as a fashion model, ruling the runway when supermodels were becoming the norm.
Her popularity as a model peaked in the early 1990s, but not yet ready to give up the spotlight, Claudia began acting. Though her acting career was very moderate compared to her modeling career, she did grace the camera with her presence on films such as The Blackout and Friends and Lovers.
The multi-talented Taylor Momsen is another star of the show Gossip Girl, playing the role of Jenny Humphrey. She first gained attention playing little Cindy Lou Who in the live action adaption of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She has gone on to star in several films, launched a successful modeling career and released a hit album with her band The Pretty Reckless. At the tender age of 18, Taylor has already accomplished more than many women twice her age. She seems to be concentrating on her music career at this time, but hopefully it will not be long before this gorgeous young woman stars in another movie and fills the big screen with her stunning good looks.
Alice Eve, the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan, was born February 4, 1982. She began making films in 2004 but really gained attention with her stunning starring role in She's Out of My League and superb supporting role in Sex and the City 2. She followed these up with a recurring role on Entourage. Her career continues to gain momentum with upcoming roles including parts in Men in Black III and the as yet unnamed Star Trek sequel. Alice is the type of fresh faced beauty that screams out for romantic comedy roles, but hopefully she will be able to maintain some diversity as she seems to have much greater range than she has so far shown.
