The Film: Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)

It is impossible to begin a list of on-set celebrity couplings without mentioning the biggest meeting of all: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The infamous "Brangelina" met while filming the action flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004, and as everyone on planet Earth knows, the two fell in love. Only problem? Pitt was still married to fellow Hollywood heavy-hitter Jennifer Aniston. The chaos that ensued in the following months (and years) was well-documented by the media; Brad and Jen finalized their divorce in 2005, and he would go on to adopt Angelina's children. Together the couple would share 6 children, marry in 2014 and ultimately separate in 2016.

The Show: True Blood (2008-2014)

These two fang-tastic loverbirds met on the set of the hit HBO vampire show, True Blood during a screen test. It didn't take long for sparks to start flying between Paquin and Moyer, as the pair began dating shortly after. In an interview with People, Moyer confessed when he knew she was the one. The Film: Cleopatra (1963)

Arguably one of the most famous costar romances of all time, began when Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton played historical lovers Cleopatra and Mark Antony in the mega-budget film, Cleopatra. During filming, the two began and affair. At the time, Taylor was married to Eddie Fisher, and Burton to Sybil Williams. The actors would separate from their partners and marry in 1964; divorcing in 1974. During this time they would star in a number of films together, and would reconcile once more and marry in 1975, before divorcing the following year. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds met on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010, when Reynolds was still married to fellow actress Scarlett Johansson. The pair maintained that they were just friends while shooting the film, but sparks must have flown since they began dating in late 2011, after Reynolds' divorce was finalized. The Film: To Have and Have Not (1944)

One of classic Hollywood's most beloved couples were familiar with one another's work, but it wasn't until filming the romance adventure film To Have and Have Not that they fell in love. Initially, Bacall wasn't too interested in the leading man, but when she showed up to set nervous and shaky, the experienced Bogart told silly jokes to relax her. The budding romance soon turned serious, as the two were married in 1945. In one of the many love letters Bogart wrote, he declared to Bacall, "I never believed that I could love anyone again...you are my last love and all the rest of my life I shall love you and watch you and be ready to help you." The legendary actor sadly passed away in 1957 from esophageal cancer, widowing Bacall.

The Film: Edward Scissorhands (1990)

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder were arguably one of the biggest "It" couples of the early '90s, after having gotten together after filming Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands. Not only did the two beautiful actors find love, but it began Depp's long-standing working relationship with the director. The couple got engaged five months after their first date, and Depp famously got the tattoo "Winona Forever." The love story of Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger is both beautiful and heart-breaking. After first meeting on the set of the Oscar-nominated film Brokeback Mountain, the pair fell in love and began dating. Screenwriter Diana Ossana once expressed how quickly Ledger fell for Williams, having expressed, "I remember him looking at her, and she looking up at him with these wide eyes. She was almost startled by the attention he was giving her, but you could see it every day from thereon. For him it was truly love at first sight. He was so taken with her."
