Top 10 Strongest Beybladers

The Best Beybladers
Those of us around in the early 2000s remember Beyblade's burst of popularity, temporarily rivaling other Japanese-produced cartoons like Pokémon. Hey, making an entire world based around spinning tops might sound silly, but is it really less believable than Yu-Gi-Oh's card-dueling?
Although the series isn't as renowned as it once was, it maintains a respectable fanbase and is still producing new anime that totally aren't just extended commercials for their toys—which characters reign supreme? These are the 10 strongest beybladers!
10. Phi
Series: Beyblade Burst Turbo
Beyblade: Dread Phoenix
Turbo's main antagonist masquerades as a noble man, but is secretly a psychotic and ruthless villain. His impressive record includes wins against protagonist Aiger Akabane (who does ultimately defeat him), rival Shu Kurenai, and even the renowned Free De La Hoya.
9. Ozuma
Series: Beyblade: V-Force
Beyblade: Flash Leopard
Ozuma proves that Kai isn't original protagonist Tyson's only competition. In their numerous matches, Ozuma beats Tyson thrice while losing and drawing once, showcasing his fierce skills. He'd rank higher if not for his loss against Zeo Zagart, who, for what it's worth, Tyson never lost to.
8. Tyson Granger
Series: Beyblade
Beyblade: Dragoon
The original blader himself, Tyson is loosely based on Red from Pokémon. While Tyson wins most of his fights and deserves mention, his record is a bit spotty even discounting series-mandated rival losses, similarly falling against characters like Kevin, Ray Kon, Antonio, and more.
7. Kai Hiwatari
Series: Beyblade
Beyblade: Dranzer
The cool counterpart to Tyson's energetic confidence, Kai provides a constant challenge to Tyson throughout their series. Fans still debate which reigns supreme; many of their final matches were interrupted or didn't reveal the result. Kai carries a formidable win record, but he's not invincible, having also lost to Brooklyn, Johnny McGregor, and Spencer.

6. Shu Kurenai
Series: Beyblade Burst
Beyblade: Spryzen
Here's a case where the rival completely outshines the protagonist (Valt), carrying a much stronger win record. Shu formerly adopted the villainous role of Red Eye, but has since come to his senses. He's only lost to Valt, Lui, and Free, and he's evened the score against Valt and Lui, conquering dozens of other foes in the meantime.
5. Gingka Hagane
Series: Beyblade: Metal Fusion
Beyblade: Pegasus
Gingka's easily one of the strongest heroes, defeating 100 opponents at once in his debut episode. Unlike other protagonists, he's also never lost to his main rival (Kyoya), and he has an extensive win record with few defeats. Even then, half his losses are flukes more than true defeats, like Argo's surprise attack.
Plus, Gingka tends to win rematches against the rare foe who bests him, including opponents like Phoenix, Ryuga, and Rago.
4. Lui Shirosagi
Series: Beyblade Burst
Beyblade: Luinor
A world-renowned champion after winning five national championships in a row, Lui ranks remarkably high for someone who isn't the main protagonist, rival, or villain of his series. In fact, he's beaten Valt thrice without ever losing to him, and the only three people that have ever beaten Lui (Shu, Free, and Aiger) have all lost to him at least once.
3. Ryuga
Series: Beyblade: Metal Fusion
Beyblade: L-Drago
Discounting the time L-Drago's powers were taken by Rago, Dragon Emperor Ryuga has only ever lost to Gingka—who he's also beaten multiple times. That's an amazing ratio considering how many battles Ryuga participates in, chalking up impressive wins against Tsubasa, Doji, and even Ryo Hagane (Gingka's father).
2. Sakyo Kurayami
Series: Beyblade: Shogun Steel
Beyblade: Ronin Dragoon
Successor Dragon Emperor Sakyo has one loss to his name, and of course, it's against Shogun Steel protagonist Zyro Kurogane. But Sakyo won every other match he ever entered, with no draws or indecisive results, including a prior bout with Zyro and a fight against rival Shinobu.
Sadly, we never got to see Sakyo square off against antagonist Kira Hayama, but considering Sakyo's win record, it's more than possible he would have won despite Kira's Evil Gene-boosted powers.
1. Free De La Hoya
Series: Beyblade Burst Evolution
Beyblade: Fafnir
Free rightfully earns his reputation as the best blader in the world, carrying a remarkable win record for someone who doesn't have hero/rival/villain plot armor. That's especially true considering the number of skilled characters Free faces, including two protagonists (Valt and Aiger), Shu, Lui, and Phi.
Free has lost to Valt, Lui, and Phi, but he's beaten Valt 10 times, defeated Lui, and is the only character Aiger faced but never defeated in Turbo.
BeyWheelz Characters
Ranking the best beybladers isn't easy since half the time, X beats Y who beats Z who beats X, but hopefully, today's list helps clear the air. Characters like Sho Tenma from spin-off BeyWheelz also deserve mention, but for now, as we await more Hasbro-selling heroes, vote for your favorite blader and I'll see you at our next anime countdown!

Ryuga is the best, he only lost to Rago and Gingka. He lost with Gingka because he was consumed with darkness, and with rago, he fought well. Gingka needed the power of all the beybladers in the world to defeat Rago
Thisist67 on July 27, 2020:

ThrowAW on July 12, 2020:
Ryuga is the strongest, he gave meaning to the saying "Ill give it 110%" its a full on metal beyblade which in the metal saga they break all the time, compare that to pieces of plastic which only ever break when someone tries to break it. Ryuga defeated many rivals and only lost twice, one was to Ginka(protagonist) while the other was a full on god which Ginka could only beat using the power of every blader in the world, infact Ryuga impressed the god with his power for only being a 'worm' to the god.
Shu x Valt on June 27, 2020:
Shu is the best
