Have you ever watched a cartoon and thought to yourself, "He may simply be a set of well-placed pixels, but he's quite tasty"?
Disney movies have been part of our lives for nearly a hundred years ever since the release of the animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. Since then, this company has dominated the movie industry with children's movies, live-action reenactments, merchandise and, of course, theme parks all over the world.
The many lovable movies we've seen from Disney over the years have also brought their own sets of characters, some sweet, some hilarious, and some utterly unforgettable. And some, we aren't ashamed to admit, handsome and cute!
Here is a rundown of the top twelve hottest and cutest male characters in Disney. All characters on this list are human (though don't pretend you never had a tiny crush on the Tramp or Simba. No? Uh, yes. Me neither).
12. Aladdin (Aladdin)
Voice actor: Scott Weinger
Film's year of release: 1992
A lot of girls and guys grew up watching one of Disney's best animated classics, Aladdin. The Genie made this movie the masterpiece it is, but a lot of people had crushed on the brave and cheeky streetrat, Aladdin, also known as Prince Ali!
11. John Smith (Pocahontas)
Voice actor: Mel Gibson
Film's year of release: 1995
Pocahontas is one awesome '90s movie, as long as you forget about any of its connections to real life. Our English hero, John Smith, arrives in the New World and falls for the Native American chief's daughter, Pocahontas.
Voiced by the beloved Mel Gibson and with floppy blond hair and an open mind to the new land and the people his men are invading, dreamboat Smith deserves a spot on this list. And his love song, brought to us in the DVD remaster, is a tear-jerker.
10. Tadashi Hamada (Big Hero 6)
Voice actor: Daniel Henney
Film's year of release: 2014
Big Hero 6 is a fun movie, and a lot of people fell for the main character, Hiro's, older brother Tadashi Hamada. This gifted robotics student invents Baymax and tragically passes away early on in the movie, much to many people's despair. He's a cute older brother and a handsome one to boot.
9. Prince Naveen (Princess and the Frog)
Voice actor: Bruno Campos
Film's year of release: 2009
In one of Disney's last animated movies, Prince Naveen of Maldonia charmed our screens! Transformed into a frog by the cunning Dr. Facilier, this poor prince mistakes the hardworking Tiana for a princess and kisses her to break the spell but instead, she turns into a frog, too.
Though he doesn't get spend much time in the story as a human, fans love to sigh dreamily when this royal hunk appears on the screen.
8. Hans (Frozen)
Voice actor: Santino Fontana
Film's year of release: 2013
Sometimes bad guys can be hot, too! It's no wonder that poor Anna fell hopelessly in love with Hans at first sight, classic Disney style. This handsome prince may be a bit of an unmentionable, but he's still very pretty.
7. David Kawena (Lilo & Stitch)
Voice actor: Jason Scott Lee
Film's year of release: 2002
The shy surfer David likes Lilo's big sister, Nani, all the way through the hilarious family flick Lilo & Stitch. His bumbling and politeness is quite different from the usual vibe of Disney guys, especially princes, but he's definitely lovable, kind-hearted, and handsome to boot.
6. Tarzan (Tarzan)
Voice actor: Tony Goldwyn
Film's year of release: 1999
Another masterpiece from '90s Disney is Tarzan, the story of a man who grows up with gorillas and faces an identity dilemma when the first humans he has ever laid his eyes on visit his jungle.
Even for '90s animation, Tarzan is RIPPED! I suppose climbing trees all your life tones those muscles.
5. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)
Voice actor: Richard White
Film's year of release: 1991
Beauty and the Beast, as well as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, is a Disney film that proves that physical beauty doesn't equal a good personality. Gaston may be a sexist, evil pig, but no one can deny he's pretty flipping gorgeous.
Kudos to Luke Evans, too, for his spectacular performance as this sleazy yet oddly charming character in the 2017 live-action version.
4. Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid)
Voice actor: Christopher Daniel Barnes
Film's year of release: 1989
What is it about black hair and blue eyes? This gentle and handsome prince is one of Ariel's reasons she becomes human, and who can blame her? Eric is sweet and loyal with a great sense of humor, and one of the hottest Disney guys out there. Oh, and he also loves dogs! What's not to love?
3. Captain Phoebus (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Voice actor: Kevin Kline
Film's year of release: 1996
Though not so nice in the original Hunchback novel, Phoebus in Disney's animated classic is witty, charming, and above all, knows justice (or lack thereof) when he sees it.
He even throws away his career and his freedom to save a family from a burning building. Is it any wonder he won Esmerelda's heart (and perhaps those of some fans, too)?
2. Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert (Tangled)
Voice actor: Zachary Levi
Film's year of release: 2010
I can't be the only one who developed a major crush on this cheeky, sneaky, and downright lovable thief-turned-loyal-friend in the fun Rapunzel-inspired film Tangled. as well as dashing good looks, Rider, real name Fitzherbert, brings comedy for viewers and frustration to Rapunzel before proving his loyalty and winning her heart.
1. Li Shang (Mulan)
Voice actor: B.D. Wong
Film's year of release: 1998
Topping this list of Top Ten Disney Hunks is Li Shang, a soldier in the Chinese Imperial Army and Mulan's love interest. Maybe it's his determination to prove himself a worthy commander or his topless scene, but he definitely deserves to be number one on this list!
Honorable mentions include Hercules, the Greek hunk who rose to defeat the god of the underworld for the woman he loves, and Kocoum, a warrior in Pocahontas' tribe who asks for her hand in marriage.
As well as fun animals, cute princesses, and hilarious and fun baddies, Disney has indeed brought us some eye candy! Who do you think should be number one on the list?

Hi there. I assume you mean Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians." That's a Dreamworks movie, not Disney, so he doesn't qualify to be on this list.
Unkown.... on July 09, 2019:
What about Jack Frost?
Brittany Brown from Sydney, Australia on March 14, 2019:
What about Aladdin?! He was my first Disney crush.

Liz, Buzz Lightyear isn't (technically) human so unfortunately, he can't make the list. He's a good choice, though.
Poppy (author) from Enoshima, Japan on January 16, 2019:
He definitely is!
Liz Westwood from UK on January 16, 2019:
Great listing here. I was looking out for Woody and Buzz Lightyear!

Prince Eric isn't perfect, but oh man, that dark hair, those blue eyes, even the clavicle...HE IS SO FREAKING HOT!
