So, what’s with the teacher category all this time? It’s actually becoming a genre! After all the anime shows centered on a certain “teacher” individual, here comes another of the unconventional type. Presenting—Kagami Junichirou and his avant-garde teaching habits!

From an ace physics genius to an anime lover and collector N.E.E.T.? Something must have happened to Kagami Junichirou. He showed so much promise. So why the turn-around? Now, he believes that what he can never do what he thinks he doesn’t want to do.

And this is when his sister comes in! Kagami is dragged into teaching in his old school by his sister! Although unconventional, his teaching skills are mad crazy! 6. Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

School doesn't always have to be associated with boring. Especially if your school is just like that of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, you wouldn't want to call-in absent ever again!

At Fumizuki Academy, all the classes are ranked from class A to class F (class A being the highest and class F being the lowest). With each class, certain benefits and luxuries are enjoyed by the respective students. But of course, everything still has to come down with every individual's intellectual prowess.

Much to Akihisa Yoshii's and his whole class' struggle, they're at lowest of the class rankings. And so, they have to stand-up to the whole school body using brilliant yet unconventional methods involving idiots, tests, and magical summoned beasts. Especially now that Mizuki Himeji is accidentally stuck with them, they have to work harder to bring themselves up and simultaneously provide Himeji what she deserves.

7. Overlord

What exactly does it feel like to be one of the mightiest beings of all? Does it feel overwhelming? Does it feels exhilarating? Or does it feel boring to be at the top of everything? Well, maybe you would know if you become an super-speedy alien-like octopus or even an overlord!

At Yggdrasil (or perhaps someplace that looks like it), player Momonga is the overlord! He is powerful and his magic and presence is so dense everything’s practically below his foot. He has an army of powerful beings too to boost his ego. But, he really just might as well be the most being in the whole of Yggdrasil.

He knows nothing of his current situation or even his surroundings but, one thing’s for sure—he has the power to dominate everything and conquer the whole world he is in. Such is the power of an overlord!

8. Angel Beats!

It would be good if it’s just a normal school but, this is better! It is a school from the after-life! And to top it all, this certain school is currently fighting a not-so-serious war against a certain invincible angel!

Okay, so the angel is actually not really an angel but she is just as powerful as what she is known to be. Her name is Kanade Tachibana and she wants to bring all the souls of the students in the after-life school to heaven.

One day, a new student (who just died in real life) comes along to change everything drastically. His name is Otonashi Yuu and he’s the first one (EVER) to actually negotiate successfully with Kanade Tachibana and discover that she’s really not what the other students makes her up to.

9. Medaka Box

Medaka Box

School life is that time of youth when kids could just fool around, chill, and perhaps study. But for Medaka and her crew, a simple and ordinary school life is pretty farfetched from what’s coming at them.

Medaka Kurokami is the new student council president of Hakoniwa Academy. With her rule, she puts on a suggestion box for everyone to put to its maximum use. That suggestion box is called the Medaka Box! And with the Medaka Box, a hell of train ride adventure surrounding the school is about to start!

Crazy powers, unorthodox students, peculiar phenomena, weirdoes—everything seems to be straight out from a shounen manga! But it’s all not just as simple as that! Because Medaka shall soon learn of the real madness she’s really in. The extraordinary and surreal shounen/romance/comedy/gag/superpower/drama/supernatural school life at Hakoniwa Academy begins!

10. Great Teacher Onizuka

Great Teacher Onizuka
Great Teacher Onizuka | Source

Seriously now?! A biker gang leader is aiming to become the best teacher ever?! Sounds irrational as hell! But well, it was possible with Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, so why not with Great Teacher Onizuka?

Onizuka was a bike gang leader. Now, he sets his eyes on his new ambition—to become a great teacher! Of course at first it wasn’t easy but, teaching is way too easy compared to what a biker gang leader does in the first place.

Onizuka not just is an unconventional teacher, but a teacher who’s capable of teaching something way beyond the context of textbooks. He might really just be one of the greatest teachers one could ever dream to have.

Which one are you going to watch next?

Actually if you watch the end of the series its explained a rat blew up the moon not Koro Sensei, a rat with the same anti- matter substance injected into its blood stream was being tested on the moon and exploded, giving us an explanation to how and why the world was gonna end by the octopus.

Danganronpa was amazing and it has a huge fanbase, multiple (good) games in American stores, and more anime coming out on Funimation.
