Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monster) tells the story of two friendless individuals as they explore their budding feelings and emotions. They are high school students Shizuku Mizutani and Haru Yoshida.

Despite meeting each other under peculiar circumstances, their encounter has led to them opening up in ways that they could have never imagined. Shizuku and Haru are both socially awkward and inept, so they are not sure what to make of the new emotions they are feeling. What they are feeling is something that will soon change their lives—love!

      Interesting list, especially in terms of timing--I only JUST got a copy of My Little Monster about two weeks ago. It also intrigues me that you started your list of similar shows with Toradora, which I recently commented in a video struck me as a likely similar series. I have actually only seen that one out of all of these, but have already pegged nearly all of those shows to watch; I also own Golden Time, Maid-Sama and Special A and intend to watch them (I hope) sooner than later. Anyway, a fun list as always, and I really look forward to seeing more of these.
