5 Anime Like "Edens Zero"

Cheeky Kid has been watching anime and reading manga for as long as he can remember. Doing so takes him to different worlds.

After seeing Edens Zero, you must still be itching for some adventure, correct? Seeing that you just can't help it, I've laid out a solution.

Here are five anime like Edens Zero for you to binge and satisfy your itch for adventure. I'm sure you'll love them, so just go on and watch!

Anime Similar to 'Edens Zero'

  1. Fairy Tail
  2. Hunter x Hunter
  3. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
  4. One Piece
  5. Rave Master

1. 'Fairy Tail'

Guildmates, you read that right; there's no typo there. This anime right here is indeed titled: Fairy Tail!

You probably already know this, but I'll say it anyway—Fairy Tail is the magical counterpart of Edens Zero. In this anime, wizards take the limelight and magic governs everything. Just the same, it's an adventure-shounen anime that plays the role of a fitting mainstream show.

It shouldn't be surprising that I listed Fairy Tail here. After all, its overall style, especially its characters, are uncannily similar (almost identical, actually) to that of Edens Zero. But being the older sibling, you'll find this one particularly enjoyable and exciting nonetheless.

Fairy Tail has hundreds of episodes. It has ups and downs, but overall fun. Just try to be a little forgiving in its inconsistencies, especially in the latter parts, and you're good to go. In any case, the magical adventure awaits you!

2. 'Hunter x Hunter'

Are you a hunter? Oh, not yet? Then you're just in time! How about taking the hunter licensure examination right about now? Okay, I'm just kidding; but at the very least, please watch Hunter x Hunter. All things considered; this is a must-watch!

I don't think I even have to tell you that Hunter x Hunter is one of the best anime in existence. It's one of the most popular shounen anime in the world, well-renowned for not just being a mainstream show but also an emblematic paradigm. Beyond all doubt, this anime is peerless and incomparable!

Since you're looking for anime like Edens Zero, I figured that I should recommend to you the best of the best. Go watch Hunter x Hunter if you still haven't watched it. If you've already watched it, then watch it again. It's as simple as that!

3. 'Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic'

I have a feeling that many people missed Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic when it first came out. It's a shounen anime, alright, but its motifs and themes might be too otherworldly for the casual viewer. But then again, I love how magically fun and thrilling this show is (even serious when it needs to be) so I'm recommending it to you.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic follows the tales of Aladdin—a mysterious boy who left his equally mysterious home to explore the world. As he travels, he begins meeting all kinds of people and learns about the existence of dungeons—esoteric places where unimaginable treasures lie hidden. Little did he know, what lies beyond the dungeons, his discoveries, and his existence is a secret that will soon shake the foundations of the world.

Are you curious now? Well, if you are, then there's no time to waste! Catch it while it's still hot. Taking that leap of faith is the first step. Now then, I bid you a spectacular journey filled with magic and zeal!

4. One Piece

Ahoy, matey! Wait, should I say "nakama" instead? Anyway, I present to you one the most popular shounen anime in the world—One Piece!

There's no way you don't know about One Piece! At this point, only someone who has been living under a rock can possibly not know about it. This anime is really mainstream and epic. As a matter of fact, it's one of the longest running shows in this era.

Perhaps I shouldn't be wasting my time recommending One Piece because there's a huge chance that you're already watching it. But, it's also compulsory that I include it because I believe that no true anime fan should ever miss it.

One Piece is a classic, an epic, and a paragon when it comes to shounen anime. It's actually a big part of anime history. So if you still haven't watched it, then by all means, do it now.

5. Rave Master

I would be committing a grave sin if I didn't include Rave Master in this list. Why? That's because this anime is Edens Zero older sibling!

Yes, you heard that right. Rave Master was created several years earlier than Edens Zero. As a matter of fact, this anime is even older than Fairy Tail, which is another older sibling of Edens Zero.

The thing about Rave Master is that I really cherish it from the bottom of my heart. They may have left its anime unfinished, but I saw it through to the end by reading its manga. One thing I can tell you is that it's way better than Fairy Tail. Edens Zero has tremendous potential, but I doubt it can hold a candle to it.

Unfortunately, Rave Master didn't enjoy the recognition and popularity it deserved back then. Perhaps in the future when they create a faithful remake of it? Only time will tell. If you're curious, I suggest you both watch its anime and read its manga. It's all worth it!
